im alive, not dead.
coming back here sure feels strange… like revisiting an old childhood haunt. it feels like ive just stepped back into an abandoned playground. the chains on the swings are rusty, the wood on the see-saw’s attacked by decay…. there is an eerie silence and for some odd reason, my heart feels lead-heavy at the moment.
updating this blog’s been at the back of my mind every other day since the last entry. so much has happened since then but strangely i hadnt felt the need to share it immediately. what does this mean?
this blog’s helped me through some pretty dark times.. acted as a distraction when my heart was aching from love lost, kept my mind busy so i wont have time to over-analyze the littlest things. i found new friends through this little journey and even won an award thanks to your votes.
it seems almost selfish that ive “abandoned” it now that my heart’s healed. that is why im writing this. i know that i dont have to and i dont owe anyone any explanation.. but i guess i just wanted to say.. hello.

hi, popped in and out of ur blog to see your updates and finally seen it now. its not quite a bad idea not talking about what uve gone thru this whole while, talking about it again, triggers the similar sensation back then. sometimes slience could be the best remedy to heal.
just something to share,do you really speak to your listeners as rosalyn or as dj rosalyn? if were to write a book, do you write ‘you’ in it or write what the readers would love to read?
if you were to listen to your favourite dj because she talks about the ways of love/relationships problems and giving you useful tips, who’s also an author of such topic, write lovey dovey poems and philosophies, giving you a whole load of solutions and analysizing the humans emotions, and one fine day, you and that particular dj/author crossed path, realising shes a total opposite of her speech, her books, of your faithful perception of her all this while, oh and the BEST part of it is she intrudes your relationships and make your partner believe casual sex is fine, being sex friends is fine. she gets angry w/o sex and expects her sex friend to remain single and old like the way she is, not hoping anyone to persue happiness.
i would like much to hear from you, i see you’re not that sort of a Dj who only favours your listener for fame and acceptance, e reason i listen to you becasue you’re not any like her.

When things don’t work out, move on. Be wise, but always stand steadfast in love, not fall into it. Pray, if it makes you feel better afterwards. I understand exactly what you mean. I have a blog too, but have since ‘abandoned’ it since Dec last year – where a whole lot of shit happened. I used to update it kindda regularly; treated it as an outlet to share my happy nothings, vent my anger, etc. It’s like my virtual best friend. But during that period, suddenly I did not feel like writing at all, though it’s definitely been at the back of my head too.. till now, even though i’m feeling somewhat better. In a sense, one reason might be that I know who will be reading it. Or which is worse? There might be people reading it whom you do not know ?
Anyway, good for you (and us! =p) that you’ve revisited it. Love reading your blog and you are an inspiration! It’s a bit late, but may you have a great 2011 ahead! Hugs.
